“As a fourth-generation Santa Cruz County resident, I’m dedicated to finding creative solutions for our community’s toughest challenges—affordable housing, transportation, climate resilience—while empowering the next generation and protecting our future.”

When I think about Santa Cruz County, my heart is filled with pride and commitment for our present and future. I’ve witnessed our community’s evolution through generations, with family ties reaching into fire, police, school districts, small businesses, and the local art scene. These roots ground me with responsibility to our district, and I am eager to put my experience, education, and energy to work for you on the Board of Supervisors.

Already deeply involved, I’ve spearheaded progress in my time as President of the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments(AMBAG), where I led the Regional Housing Needs Assessment process, laying the foundation for a more sustainable community where people of all backgrounds can thrive. As Vice Chair of the METRO Transit District Board, I’ve supported tangible improvements to our transportation system, ensuring accessibility for all. My environmental commitment extends to my work on the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Committee, and is demonstrated in my advocacy for coastal resiliency funding to combat the effects of climate change.

With the March, 2024 election just months away, I hope to earn your support. I invite you to reach out with questions, ideas, and to discuss our shared vision for Santa Cruz County, the remarkable place we proudly call home.
